BPO = Business Process Outsourcing
BPO is when a company hires another company (or third-party service provider) to handle some of its business operations.
These operations are usually support functions, so the main company can focus on its core business.
Example:
A bank outsources its customer care calls to a BPO company.
An e-commerce company outsources its order tracking & return queries to a BPO.
Voice Process – Handling customer calls (inbound/outbound).
Inbound: Receiving calls (customer queries, complaints, support).
